Our range of services are delivered by credentialed behavioral health professionals.
Each treatment plan is individualized based on the specific needs of the child. Our range of services include:
Behavioral Assessments 


Our assessment team will conduct an array behavioral assessments to gauge your child's language, social skills abilities, functional development and skill acquisition. Information from these assessments will be used to create a treatment plan of best fit for your child. Assessments may include: VB-MAPP, Vineland-II, FBAs, Reinforcer Assessments, ABLLS-R, TOPS, TOPS-3 and TOPL.

 

Speech Therapy 


Our licensed speech therapists provide fun, interactive speech therapy three times per week in the clinic and twice per week in the home settings. We are experts in working with children who have a  wide variety of disorders, including but not limited to Autism, intellectual disabilities, expressive/receptive language delay, fluency, articulation, phonology, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, pragmatic language and voice and more. We utilize evidence-based therapies such as PROMPT, PECS, Applied Verbal Behavior, Augmentative/Alternative Communication in order to better enhance your child's communication.

ABA Therapy 


Our talented staff conduct 1:1 ABA therapy sessions in the home, clinic and community settings based on the individual targets of your child. Our therapy sessions include, but are not limited to, group participation, language development, motor imitation and movement, social skills training, functional communication, reducing problem behaviors, teaching appropriate replacement behaviors, implementing token economies, developing self-help and grooming skills, play skills, transitions and routines, waiting skills, attention span, safety/self-awareness, tutoring and more! It is important to note that sessions are based on the individual needs of the child as identified during the intake and assessment period. 

New Beginnings Program

Our New Beginnings Program is a 16-week intensive early intervention program designed for children 12 months to 3 years of age who are diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. New Beginnings is based on a multidisciplinary approach designed to enhance overall development social skills, pro-social behavior, the reduction of problem behaviors, positive peer and family interactions, speech and communication, preliminary academic skills, fine and gross motor abilities. This program also incorporates daily speech-language therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and comprehensive parent education. Parents are encouraged to participate in weekly parent education and teem meetings. The goal of our program is to provide families with an understanding of  their own child's unique needs as well as the along with the tools necessary to meet these various needs.

Super Social Skills Group

Meeting Times: Monday through Thursday from 4 P.M. to 7 P.M.

Funding Source: Insurance, Private Pay

Prerequisites: Completion of early intervention program or ability to independently engage in skills taught at the early intervention level.

Super Social Skills is a 16-week social skills group for ages 3 to 7 will help your child improve the quality of their interactions with peers. These groups will use various structured play activities to foster opportunities for children to interact with peers in a meaningful and engaging manner. This group will also introduce children to different types of play or activities that they will likely encounter among peers or other play settings. 

Friendship Building Group

Meeting Times: Monday through Thursday from 4 P.M. to 7 P.M.

Funding Source: Insurance, Private Pay

Prerequisites: Completion of super social skills program or ability to independently engage in skills taught at the super social skills level.

Friendship Building is a 16-week social skills group for ages 8 to 11 that will help further build on the skills taught in the previous social skills group.  These groups will combine short didactic lessons about positive peer interactions and semi-structured activities to foster opportunities for meaningful friendship building and appropriate social skills. Topics will also include appropriate use of sarcasm and working through peer disagreements during play.

Building Bridges Summer Camp (Now Enrolling for Summer 2020)

It is never to late to sign up for our annual special needs summer camp! 

All camp leaders and chaperones are Registered Behavior Technicians who are passionate about improving your child's life and abilities. All activities and field trips are designed to maximize your child's opportunities for learning and fun.

Program Dates: mid-June through mid-August (dates will be finalized in January)

Meeting Times: 8:30 A.M. - 4:30 P.M. (after care available for additional fee upon request)

Ages: 2-17 

Funding Source: Insurance (does not include registration fee), Private Pay 

Campers will engage in fun and exciting activities on-campus Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Field trips are each Tuesday and Thursday of the week.

The Building Bridges Summer Camp is an 8-week summer camp for children ages 2 through 17 who have Autism or other special needs. This program is designed to help meet those goals while also providing a fun summer camp experience tailored to your child’s particular needs. An intake appointment must be scheduled prior to summer camp in order to fully assess goals for summer camp.Children participating in the program will benefit from a higher level of support and expertise from their counselors as they work on goals including:​

  • transitions and routines
  • safe and self-awareness
  • speech and listening skills
  • making and keeping friends
  • gross and fine motor activities
  • ​better focus and application skills
  • age-appropriate independent living skills
  • improving emotional awareness and coping skills
  • participating in different types of play with peers
  • engaging in successful conversational exchanges
  • trying new foods, activities and outdoor experiences​
  • and MORE!

Early Registration Fee (7/1/19 - 12/31/19):       $500.00

Regular Registration Fee (1/01/20 - 6/01/20):  $625.00

Late Registration Fee (6/02/20 - 06/30/20):  $700.00

PEERS® Social Skills Training ​for Adolescents & Adults

PEERS® is a 16-week evidence-based social skills intervention for motivated adolescents in middle school or high school who are interested in learning ways to help them make and keep friends. During each group session adolescents are taught important social skills and are given the opportunity to practice these skills in session during socialization activities (e.g. playing sports, board games, etc.).

Parents are taught how to assist their teens in making and keeping friends by providing feedback through coaching during weekly socialization homework assignments. Regular attendance is imperative. Parent participation is required. Adolescents must be self-motivated to attend.

Topics of Instruction:

  • How to use appropriate conversational skills

  • How to find common interests by trading information

  • How to appropriately use humor

  • How to enter and exit conversations between peers

  • How to be a good host during get-togethers

  • How to make phone calls to friends

  • How to choose appropriate friends

  • How to be a good sport

  • How to handle arguments and disagreements

  • How to change a bad reputation

  • How to handle rejection, teasing, and bullying

  • How to handle rumors and gossip
